Why ONDANOVA

What you get here
that you do not
get elsewhere.

Every telecoms company on the internet claims to be different. Here is ours, written so you can hold us to it.

4UK networks we can sell — not one
11handsets in the range, all installed regularly
2directors, both of them contactable
0call centres between you and us

The difference

Six claims, and how
to check them.

Ask any competitor the same six questions. Compare the answers.

You deal with a director

Ask who will be looking after the account in a year. If the answer is a job title rather than a name, you already know how that goes.

We are genuinely independent

Ask which networks they can supply. If it is one, every recommendation you get for the next three years is predetermined.

We survey before we quote

Ask whether the price is subject to survey. A quote that can move after you sign is not really a quote.

We say what the trade-off is

Ask what the disadvantage of their recommendation is. Everything has one. A supplier who cannot name it either does not know or is not saying.

We hand over documentation

Ask what you get on completion. Labelled cabinet, written call flow and an accurate inventory should not be a bonus.

We tell you the contract term up front

Ask for the term and the notice period in writing before you sign. Note how long it takes them to answer.

Being honest

When we are
not the right answer.

It is a short list, but pretending it is empty would undermine everything else on this page.

You want the absolute lowest price

Buying direct from a network on a self-service tariff will sometimes be cheaper per line. It comes with a portal instead of a person. That is a reasonable trade if you have in-house expertise.

You need 24/7 follow-the-sun support

We provide out-of-hours cover for what genuinely cannot wait, but if you need a staffed desk at 3am every night, you need a bigger organisation than ours.

You want one supplier for absolutely everything

We do comms, connectivity, mobile and the cloud services around them. We are happy to work alongside your IT provider, but we will not pretend to be them.

Practically speaking

What working
with us looks like.

  1. First conversation

Ten minutes on the phone. What you have, what irritates you, roughly how many desks and sites. We will tell you there and then whether it is worth going further.

  2. Survey

One of us comes to the building. Cabinet, cabling, line types, where the signal drops, who answers what.

  3. Proposal

Written, itemised, with the term stated and the alternative option included — even where the alternative earns us less.

  4. Delivery

Kit pre-configured and labelled, port date agreed with you, one of us present or on the phone while it happens.

  5. Afterwards

Documentation handed over, a check-in call two weeks later, and the same two numbers to ring for as long as you are a customer.

Next step

Hold us to
all of that.

Start with the ten-minute conversation. If we fail any of the six tests above, you have lost ten minutes.

The name

on·da no·va

/ˈɒn.də ˈnəʊ.və/

noun · Italian & Portuguese · from onda “wave” + nova “new”

  1. a new wave. A swell that arrives with force and changes the shape of what it meets. Not a ripple, and not a storm — a clean, deliberate change in direction.

“Every few years the industry gets an onda nova. Copper to fibre. Cupboard to cloud.”

  2. the mark. The two waves inside the O of our logo — one carrying voice, one carrying data, moving in step rather than fighting each other.

  3. the way we work. Arriving properly. Doing the survey, porting the numbers, labelling the cabinet, answering the phone afterwards. Leaving a business better connected than we found it.

“We didn’t want another supplier. We wanted an onda nova.”
